WHAT IS COMPLEX-I?

Complex-I is the realization of an accidental discovery, the impact of which has consumed my every thought, word & action for the past ten years. That discovery was the idea of combining classical music with heavy metal, with an ensemble that consists of acoustic & electric/amplified instruments. I consider this discovery "accidental" because it was not expected or intentional; rather, it was a moment of divine inspiration where I became aware of an alternative plane of musical & artistic possibilities.

The studio version of Revelation is FREE to download & share. All I ask for in return is that YOU help me share this piece. If you like what you hear, then please share it with someone you think might like it and ask them to do the same. Of course, spread the word about Complex-I, and spread the word about the website. Also, feel free to send an Email with your comments, as I'm very interested to hear your feedback.

I’d like to take this moment to thank all of the people who’ve been involved or have become involved with Complex-I. First of all, I’d like to thank Lisa Hoag for all the work she’s done to help me put this project together, to keep me sane, to keep me focused, and to keep me positive. Second, I’d like to thank John Little at UpSide Sound Studio for his amazing work on the demo of Revelation, which took us 90 hours to finish. Next, I’d like to thank Ethan Stone for everything he’s shared with me—opportunities to perform & present my music, career advice & information, insight on the music business, books & movies to check out, and his genuine friendship & selfless generosity! I’d like to thank my brother Jeremy for being himself, as he is probably the most important inspiration I had in making my dreams of symphonic metal a reality.

Finally, I'd Like to thank all the musicians & personnel who've given their time & energy & talents to this project.

From the first performance of Revelation on August 8, 2004 to the finishing of Revelation & Metacom's Revenge in the studio to the performance on July 22, 2006, every person involved gave their passions with enthusiasm so that this project could be brought to life. It is my pleasure to acknowledge these amazing people here & now, so that their great deeds may be recognized & appreciated by all.
